SCHOOL
The converted old School is in a spectacular south facing front location overlooking Vatersay Bay and its beautiful white sandy beach. This spacious home with three en-suite bedrooms sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. The house is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and is available year round for self-catering. Shopping is a five-mile drive across the causeway (where you drive across the Atlantic) to the main village of Castlebay on the Isle of Barra.

CHALET
The Chalet has an open plan living area/kitchen, tastefully and comfortably furnished and with all the equipment TWO people require for their stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with: dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave, as well as Fire Extinguisher and Fire Blanket.
In the bedroom you will find a super-king size bed and a separate shower room/wc.
In the basement is the washer/dryer.

Great walks, can be enjoyed along with, bird and seal watching, shell collecting and yes, swimming or just sunning yourself on the beach, right outside your front door. As you step outside you can find an abundance of wild life eg: basking sharks, otters, eagles etc.
Vatersay School opened in 2001, and that year became the first 5* property in the Outer Hebrides.
