Situated in the idyllic west coast of the Isle of Barra, Cleat House is the ideal place for your stay. With magnificent sunsets and gorgeous white sand beaches, there is something for everyone on this vibrant island. With Ben Cleat overlooking the house, there is some of the most beautiful Scottish scenery at your fingertips.
A five minute walk down the road takes you to the white sandy Cleat Beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the well known Cleat caves, as well as famously featuring in the film, ‘Whisky Galore.’ If you fancy venturing further you can take a hike up Arch Grean and also wander to Seal Bay to catch a glimpse of the wildlife.
Outside of Cleat, the town centre, Castlebay, is just a ten minute drive away, where there is plenty of places to go to such as cafes, bars, a play area, swimming pool and even kayaking
A ten minute drive in the opposite direction will take you to the iconic airport where you can watch the plane land on the beach – a truly fantastic sight.
