The hotel now has five comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a bright welcoming bar, a reception area and a dining room where breakfast and evening meals are served. Meals are also served in the bar where you can also enjoy a sociable evening with the locals who will regale you with stories of the island.
My wife and I stayed here in May of 2013 and were delighted with the quality of food service and accommodation. Attempted to book this year, unfortunately they were fully booked.
We had to sample other accommodation on Barra in Castlebay, unfortunately it was terrible and over priced.
Joe and Kathleen have no competition on Barra, pity they only have 5 rooms!
